“Nice relaxing dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2014

We really enjoyed our dinner at Barbakoa which offers outdoor riverside seating. The piña coladas were very tasty, the Cornish hen was tender and moist with an amazing sauce and was big enough to share. We had the mofonguitos for our side and the pigs wings as an appetizer- they were delish. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server was very helpful and knowledgable of the menu. He also mentioned that they aren't open everyday (I forget which days they are closed) so you may want call ahead to be sure when making your plans. A nice place to stop after a visit to El Yunque.

Ribs are out of this world! Wife had chicken wings which were top notch. There's good reason why this place gets such great reviews!

“Beautiful setting”

The turnover for 3.00 on the appetizer section is wonderful. Stuffed with beef and sweet plaintains and served with a bbq sauce. So yummy. We ordered a beef dish with a mushroom wine sauce. Also delicious. Beers 3.00 and the flowing river view was free!

Nice spot, on a river, sit outside amongst the foliage. Staff friendly, food fantastic. Linger awhile, very pleasant.
