The food was fine, but the chicken that we had (based on the Fodor's write up of the fried chicken with rice and beans) was dried out and just so so. The wonderful staff though was incredibly warm and welcoming and we went back there during our second trip to the rainforest and had the shish kabob which was fine. We also tried the fruit drinks which also had a great write-up in Fodor's and we found the passionfruit drink to be overly sweet and not what we were expecting, but that's not the company's fault.
