“Beautiful setting, sparkling clean house, awesome experience!”
Reviewed August 6, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

A great experience at Coquis Hideaway! The house is immaculate, the pool is awesome, the setting is amazing. We loved every minute...

Ray thought of everything you might need and then some! The house is perfect for a family or for couples. Nine acres in a lush tropical setting with a killer view of the northeast part of the Island. Tons of things to see in the area and close to a great grocery store!

One of the best rentals we have ever experienced!!!!!!!!

“Location + Amenities = a Stress-Free Vacation”
Reviewed July 30, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Stayed here 2 yrs a go: came back for more great times! My husband & I & our 3 "Kids", ages 16, 18 & 20 love so many things about this place. Space for each person ( were not all cramped in a hotel room). Everything needed for day trips: 2 ice chests, beach umbrella & chairs, towels, etc. The washer & dryer: if you spend any time in the waterfalls & ocean, a "must-have". At Coqui's Hideway, you feel like you have lived in P.R. for a brief time & not "out of a suitcase". Fun to visit the local grocery store & restaurants recommended by Ray & Gwenn: the best hosts ever! Don't know when, but we will be back to P.R. & this is where we will stay!!

“The nicest condo we have ever stayed in!”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Beautiful, quiet condo. Lovely grounds. Amazing views. Nice location when desiring to travel and explore the island. Owners were so friendly, helpful and a wealth of knowledge. They graciously shared their home and secrets about the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We can't wait to return!

“Second time is a Charm!!”
Reviewed May 9, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Hesitated to share for fear it won't be available when I decide to return. This was my second stay and it was just as awesome as the first time when I cane with my family. It's a short drive from SJU and the directions from the host are spot on. Although, I had an awesome time when I had my family with me, this trip was about relaxation and I did just that. Rented a car at the airport and came straight from the airport. The calming sounds of the Rainforest were awesome. Planning my next visit and will be back before the end of the year.

“A great B&B”
Reviewed April 26, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Ray and Gwenn were terrific hosts, and Ray provided loads of good advice on places to go, things to do, and places to eat. Kass and I could not have had a more pleasant stay, despite a little rain one morning. Their home was really well appointed with a comfortable bed, nice shower, well stocked kitchen, TV with an enormous selection of DVDs, and two baskets of goodies including home made banana bread and fresh fruit from their grounds. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and teaming with birds, lizards, and coqui frogs.

We were thankful to be so close to so many activities. We took a day snorkeling trip to Culebra, hiked the beautiful Mount Britton trail, went to beaches at Seven Seas and Luquillo (free parking behind the food shacks), zip lined (my first time) at a great place that Ray recommended (Yunke Zipline Adventures) where his $20 per person discount was helpful, hiked (short) to two great waterfalls just below the Big Tree Trail, had good takeout food at El Verde BBQ just down the road, etc.

“An ideal location for multiple generations of family”
Reviewed March 1, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We stayed at Coqui's Hideaway as a three-generation family unit--two teens, two grandparents, two parents--and it was the perfect location for all of us. Gwenn and Ray have appointed the house perfectly. It's hard to imagine what could possibly be lacking. We enjoyed making paella on the grill by the pool not once but twice, hiking in El Yunque (just a 20-minute drive) and enjoying the beaches and restaurants that they suggested. Everyone was comfortable and happy and enjoyed the spectacular views, lovely landscaping and overall warmth and hospitality. We are well traveled and have rarely stayed somewhere more accommodating. It was also super, super clean, which is always appreciated and in excellent condition. Thank you!

“Wonderful place to stay!”
Reviewed February 23, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Coqui Hideaway was truly a home away from home! Ray and Gwenn were super and thought ahead to have everything we might need there for our stay. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The house was beautiful too, and so well stocked with everything we needed. They even had items for the beach there ready for us to use. We had a wonderful time!
