With over 20 different varieties of freshly baked gourmet toppings, plus the chance to design your own, all tastes will be well catered for. The portions are also very generous, with the large 12" pizzas being large enough for 2 people, or 1 very hungry person! Pasta, salad, burgers, BBQ wings, ribs & chicken also feature on the menu if pizza doesn't take your fancy, plus the children's menu is also extensive. Don't forget the specials board too!The spacious & beautiful beer garden is an ideal space to dine al fresco during the summer months or just to relax & enjoy a cold pint of beer, glass of wine or soft drink in. There is also a children's play area which the kids can enjoy whilst the parents sit back & rest. In the winter, the log fire helps to keep the insides of the pub cosy. There is also a skittle alley & function room available for adult and children’s parties, gatherings for family and friends, club and business meetings, christenings, weddings and wakes. Mother and toddler groups can also be accommodated during lunchtimes. Complete with its own music system, private garden and patio area and can be hired as room only, or with the skittle alley and buffet menu.

“The poorest food I've experienced for a long time”

You would of thought leek and potato soup would be homemade and full of leeky flavour. How you can serve something so tasteless and stodgy is beyond me. My view is it was a packet mix as there were lumps of congealed flour stuff, also feels like it was MSG laden.
Other thoughts, fries that were stuck together suggesting they were reheated. Light airy bread for a ploughmans, and there was most definetly not a wide selection of real ales(but they do Harveys which was fresh so a positive) I could go on.

“Pizza Perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

Visited The Bull Inn for lunch today. This was our first visit. The pub is spacious with a lovely garden. There is a great function room with a bowling alley, ideal for parties. The bar was well stocked with a good choice of real ales. We hadn't planned to visit The Bull Inn today but I'm so glad we did. There is an impressive lunch menu with choices for everyone and a tempting range of specials on the board. We had visited to try their home made pizza. The Bull offers a really wide selection on their menu. For starters we had cheesey garlic bread and dipping bread with balsamic vinegar and oils. Generous portions and the dipping bread was warm home baked Italian style bread. Thanks to a previous Trip Advisor review, we decided to order the regular size pizzas. The larger size are definitely for sharing! Delicious pizzas with homemade bases and delicately flavoured with fresh herbs, our only regret was we couldn't manage dessert. Great pub, great food, warm welcome.. We will definitely return. Thank you.

“Great Pizza & Garden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2012

This is a pub which sells great pizza's. The interior is warm with an open fire place and candles on the tables, there is a bowling alley adjacent to the pub which is good for private parties - and popular so book. The large outdoor garden area is lovely on a warm sunny day and very child friendly with playground apparatus, and dog friendly (they have a few bowls of water outside for the pups), because of its size there is still plenty of room even on a busy day. There is adequate free parking (we have never struggled to find a place). On our last visit I opted for the house pate as a starter at £5.35 which was very nice and filling, my fiance chose a small Quackers pizza with crispy duck, spring onion and hoisin sauce along with the other normal pizza toppers - very good. Note: the large pizzas can be very filling - my fiance is a big 6f2 ex rugby boy and he still opts for the small, especially if you have a starter or want a desert afterwards. Wine is normal price etc., and the Guinness scores a 7/10. It is worth booking ahead if you can.
