The dive masters, dive leaders, and boat captains make Divetech just a fantastic diving experience. The dive masters spend the right amount of time on the briefing and does exactly what they say they will do underwater. The boat captains often lead the dives as well. They manage the groups underwater very professionally and don't quit the dive based on the first person to use up their air. They are well suited for all dive levels, their tanks and gear looks to be in good condition and everything went off without a hitch.

Don't overlook their shore dive either. The inner and outer reefs come in close to their shop so swimming to the outer reef is very easy. They have a good pier for jumping in and a good exit pool for getting out. They give free tanks on days when you dive off their boat. The reef off their pier is very nice and they will even let you reserve tanks and go at night.

Hi! We are happy to hear you had a great time with us. We do offer free shore diving if you go boat diving with us three days or more. By the sound of it, you got to cover most of the dive sites around Cayman and our shore dive sites during day and night. Hope to see you again soon!

This is a first class diving operation with a great team. Everything seems to run smoothly which makes for an enjoyable, stress-free dive trip.

The boat dives were amazing, we were lucky enough to get out on the north wall almost every day. The shore dive right in front of the shop is also a great day and incredibly convenient - just kit up and jump off the dock or swim out through the pool that's cut out of the ironshore. I would also recommend doing one of the guided night dives, it was a brilliant experience.
If you go to Grand Cayman you owe it to yourself to check out DiveTech.

Thank you for the review, Wayne. Our mission is to provide you stress-free trip and we are very happy to hear you enjoyed diving with us.
Our shore dive site was voted in the top five shore dives in the world. This is where divers and snorkelers can explore a spectacular reef wall and visit the bronze sculpture, the Guardian of the Reef. Would love to see you again. Come visit us soon.

My husband and I came to DiveTech specifically to do Tec training with Drew McArthur and then shore dive the main wall off the DiveTech dock and maybe do some boat dives. All expectations were met wonderfully, with Drew providing the kind of instruction that perfectly blends safety and true learning with a bit of flexibility and patience.

Although we stayed at a hotel on 7 Mile Beach, someone from DiveTech picked us up and dropped us off every single day - sometimes Drew in his own car! From Sarah (our most frequent driver) to Menno and Raggi, and from Sonya and Jess (who are also DMs and captains-in-training), all people in owner Jo's crew are friendly, helpful, and ready to facilitate your diving in a way that is not baby-sitting and allows you and your training to be front and center.

We saw DMs and captains on boats handle newbies and experienced divers with grace and patience (especially Captain Lee), while not getting in the way of those of us with much more experience. Overall, a great shop that will provide divers of all levels opportunity to have enjoyable and interesting dives.

I booked with Divetech to do some freediving after a long dry spell, and couldn’t have chosen better! The dive shop is very professional but with a really friendly atmosphere- everyone I met made me feel right at home. They offer all types of recreational and tech scuba activities, as well as freediving with the awesome Talya. She’s an amazing instructor, very perceptive as well as inspirational, and I came away with a lot of tips to improve my performance. Couldn’t have picked a better teacher to help me back in the water- I highly recommend trying it out! Thank you Divetech and thank you Talya!!

Huge shout out to the patient and professional Sara, our Open Water Dive instructor who helped us complete our first diver certification course! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to explore the open waters and begin our journey into the extraordinary underworld. DiveTech staff are top rate, organized, timely, and extremely hospitable. They operate as a team, efficiently guiding divers from land to water, through the deep and back again. Highly professional and attentive, though they created a relaxed, casual atmosphere (which was comforting for us newbie divers!) The shore dive directly off their dock offered plenty. Who would have thought that we’d see sea turtles, lobsters, octopus, stingrays and camouflaged bottom dwellers while on certification dives?!! Sara was great at pointing out sea life that would be easily missed by the untrained eye. The boat dives gave us the opportunity to explore many different dive sites. One dive master in the lead and another trailing the group was an ideal method for keeping all divers accounted for. We stayed on site at Lighthouse Point. Gorgeous and huge living space that exceeded our expectations. Constant sound of the ocean surf was “Caribbean cool” and the fascinating iguana habitat directly next to our balcony was entertaining. Would we return to DiveTech and Lighthouse Point? You bet!
