We had a great dinner at the Heritage Kitchen. We ordered at the small kitchen window and the owner explained all the different fish options and helped us understand what our dinners would be like since it wasn't intuitive from the menu. She took special interest in the kids and tried to make sure they had something they would like. The choices were mostly simple fish dinners served with rice, vegetable side and a fritter.
The fish was extremely fresh, batter dipped and sauteed in light oil. the grouper was topped with onions and a coconut sauce which was delicious. The portion sizes were very large and satisfying.
Seating was self serve at outside tables under a large tree or awnings. When we were done we could sit on the seawall and watch the sunset.
