“Hearty fare from Heritage Kitchen”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Heritage Kitchen is a bit off the beaten path...but more than worth the trip! It is near the wall across from the beach and lovely view of 7Mile Beach across the water. It is a local favorite and all foods are prepared with local foods by friendly staff and owner. Soups of either Conch, or fish tea run about $5; fritters same; Daily menus include Grouper prepared with coconut, Cayman style, pan fried, or pineapple ($10).They also offer Steamed Snapper,Cayman BBQ chicken($10) and ribs ($12). Cayman style includes an assortment of sides with some veggies included. The establishment is an outside only seating area with a covering and views of the Caribbean Sea. We ordered 2 different Cayman specials and 2 drinks for under $25. Walk, ride whatever but, don't miss it!

“Authentic Cayman food!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013 via mobile

Food was fresh and delicious! The portions are huge. I had Cayman style Maui Maui and my parents had pan fried grouper. The fish was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. A true local place to eat. Outdoor seating only. We went for Sunday lunch. Many Caymanians were coming for food after church. A true sign that it's delicious!

“What a Gem!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Heritage Kitchen is a great little restaurant with many fresh fish options, all of which are delicious! We enjoyed the Conch Fritters, Coconut Grouper, Pineapple Grouper & Curry Grouper. The portions are large, the prices reasonable & the quality very good. The owner is a very nice lady who brought out a sample of her Conch Stew for our table to try. It was, as was everything else, very good! I can't recommend this place enough! Go ... & enjoy!!

“GREASY SPOON PERSONIFIED”

The food is home cooking with eating outside. This is where the locals buy to go and bring it home. It is a great lunch time place to eat on the waterfront, just across the neighborhood street.

“Amazing”

Great little food shack with super fresh fish. Eat at a picnic table with beach views and little chickens running around the yard. Great deal for the $.
