John and his mates Wes and Oscar were great! Just great friendly people. We swam with the stingrays, snorkeling on the reef and went to starfish beach. Coolers available for drinks or a frig for sandwiches as well as they had fresh fruit for us. Pineapple, watermelon, and honeydew, etc. We had 13 people with plenty of room. Highly recommend for your stay in the Cayman's.

We booked a full day trip with Jon aboard the Enchantress, a beautiful, top notch catamaran for our last full day in Grand Cayman. Jon was very helpful and accommodating, even going as far as picking us up at Kaibo since we were staying on the East End. He was willing to tailor the day to what we wanted to do, he made some great suggestions and we decided to spend the majority of the day snorkeling and sailing.

We started off by trolling (Jon pulling us on a rope behind the catamaran) for conch. Oscar, Jon's first mate, then proceeded to make conch ceviche, which was out of this world! We went snorkeling at 3 different places along the barrier reef where there was not a sole around us. Our last stop was at the Stingray City sandbar, where Oscar brought out squid so that we could feed the stingrays. We finished the day off by sailing back to Kaibo thoroughly exhausted and relaxed at the same time.

Jon and Oscar were both gracious and helpful the whole time. They made our last day of vacation a truly memorable one! I could not recommend this trip enough to anyone who would like to spend a lovely day out on the water.

Our family of 8 adults and 8 grandchildren chartered this catamaran, The Enchantress, for a 7-hour sail to celebrate a major wedding anniversary. Captain John and mate Oscar kept us all busy and entertained throughout. From 3 places to snorkel, a private stingray city side-trip (away from tourists), including reef-snorkeling, we had plenty of variety. They also gave us options, from which we chose Starfish Beach and Kaibo for an early dinner. We then sailed back to our harbor under sail, with Captain John allowing our grandkids to "man the helm" (with supervision of course). The trip came to an end with fruit refreshments and playing onboard caribbean instruments to the tunes of the tropics (by the grandchildren). Most unusual, they taught us how to fish, and we caught a small fish, a barracuda, and then, just as the sail was ending, a 20 pound red snapper! Our son-in-law remarked after the trip that it was one of the Top 20 days of his life. Great trip, with a truly generous, caring, and fun-filled crew!

We booked mainstay based on the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Jon and Oscar were so welcoming and showed us a great day. We booked a full day and went snorkeling and swam with the stingrays when it was less crowded. We also had a great lunch at Kaibo. We had 8 adults and 9 kids. There was plenty of shade and sun on the boat. It was the best day of our vacation. We would book again with Jon. It was very reasonable and much more personable than the ones you book on seven mile beach. We highly recommend mainstay and we look forward to visiting Jon soon! Great time and many memories were made this spring break thanks to mainstay.
