We stumbled across this great pub by accident, and what a find! With three kids to entertain this pub has probably the best pub garden i have ever seen, with a massive climbing area and slides etc. They also have two huge rabbits that you can feed along with a separate toddlers play area. We were there for three hours as we ended up having a great lunch there. Recommend the home made burger! It had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. The landlord also let me try some of the ales before buying. The contemporary decor was excellent and it was refreshing to go to a pub that is so geared up for family's, sells decent beer, and has staff and a landlord that make you feel so welcome. Highly recommended and we be visiting again very soon!

What a lovely, modern and very clean pub this is.
Everything including the furniture was laid out perfectly.
The owners and staff were delightful and very friendly and very professional, and the waiters/waitresses knew exactly what they were talking about.
The steaks me and my fiancee had were the best i've ever tasted.
There was nothing at all that i could find to even make the smallest of criticism, and the toilets were the cleanest i have ever seen anywhere.
All in All, a fantastic place.

We had a simple lunch at this Pub/Restaurant and found it to be a very friendly establishment.
There is a huge car park & apparently they have a lot of walkers because of their location, who park their cars there in the early morning & then finish up with a pub lunch which seems a very civilised idea.
We had a steak wrap which was excellent & followed with a homemade apple crumble which was also very good & as they heard that it was my husband’s birthday a lighted candle was put in the centre which was a nice touch.
Although it is only a couple or so of miles from larger towns it does seem as if one is right out in the peaceful countryside.
We will certainly make a return visit in the not too distant future.

We visited here having last visited it oodles of years ago. It was a busy Sunday lunch time but tables available, staff very friendly and efficient. We ordered roast pork and steak n ale pie and told that it would be around 30 mins. Before we knew it the food arrived albeit 30 minutes late but blimey was it worth while!!! The food was the best I have ever had and I mean the best! Decent amount of food which tasted unbelievable. Very friendly staff and had a chat with guy behind the bar who enquired when we last visited, explained it was quite a while ago and he showed me a big picture round the side of the pub before it burned down telling me about it`s history. Overall an excellent experience which we are not likely to find again for a long time as we are not local...thanks again.
