We dined early with my parents and our young child.
Being new to dining out with our child, we were pleasantly surprised to discover a kids menu. The kids menu was great, a great variety and while some not suitable to our 2 year old, it was great. Overall service was quick, actually too quick.
Our rice paper rolls were fabulous and all seemed great. But then nearly all the rest of our dishes all turned up at the same time (waitress was very apologetic as the kitchen made a mistake). Both vegetable and chicken Pho were ok, but nothing special. Took a while for extra bowls to arrive as we were sharing the soup. Spare ribs (said it was dish of the year by The Age but I find it hard to believe) we'e tasty but not incredible. Fried rice was really good. The quail salad was good but came at the end of the meal.
This is the 3rd time we've been here since it opened (we live down the road) and i have felt the same way after each visit. All in all it was good but not brilliant.
