“You have to go there, but not too often”
Reviewed March 23, 2012

A bit dirty and grungy, hard to park, but great for people watching. Some great restaurants and cafes not far away so if it's not beach weather, just meander along until you find something that takes your fancy in glenhuntly road or on the beach between elwood and st kilda

Reviewed January 3, 2012

Lovely pristine beach, great picnic place for the family. Rarely a crowd. Close to good eateries.

“Sit at Sails & watch the sunset”
Reviewed December 10, 2011

Sitting at Sails Restaurant on Elwood Beach, you can watch the sunset, the runners, the walkers, the lovers, the families, the animals, the swimmers, the babies in the sand - all while you're sipping on a wine and relaxing.
