“Good Food, Expensive wines, Poor service”
Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

Auberge continues to serve good food, although the menu had hardly changed since we came last time in 2012. Choice of the menu is restricted, presentation of the food is fine. Don't understand why they can't offer a daily special. Prices of wines are simply exorbitant. Service and staff seem to lack training and were better in the past. The place seems to suffer from the same 'disease' of many places in the Canton de Vaud, of 'standing still' and not moving on...Overall experience average.

“Worth any distance detour”

Absolutely fantastic restaurant and it is worth booking a hotel room too. That way you can fully enjoy a dinner with excellent wine. Whenever you in the Geneva area, try planning a stay here, it's an experience you will remember for a long time.

A very cosy yet elegant gourmet restaurant with a simpler bistro next door open Sunday evening, not too far from Geneva with one of the best rum collections in the country. No false notes on our 110 CHF set meal, enjoyed everything. Perfect service. i recommend the local viognier for a very reasonable price. Everything well presented. the chef is a very affable fellow, happy in his work...

“very good food in the Geneva neighbourhood”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

The Auberge de Bogis-Bossey is tucked away in a small village and offers high level cuisine, pretty presentation of food in an elegant surrounding and friendly and quick service - at a price. The autumn menu 2012 offered a hare pate (could have done with a bit more seasoning) served in a glass pot, an excellent pumpkin soup with ravioli, perfectly cooked wild bore with spaetzle and brussels sprouts and a delicious chease selection. The impressive wine list offers a wide selection from Switzerland and beyond.

“the "Chef" of restaurants in the area”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Excellent cuisine with its own distinct and subtile style. Well-balanced recipes that do not only nurture visual experience, but also challenge our modestly developed taste buds. Interestingly, the wine list does not only contain the usual suspects, but also some local wines that have been created by the the Auberge's chef Olivier Martin. For those into rhum, be pleasantly surprised by an extraordinary collection to choose from.
Though relatively high-priced, it is beyond an emotional investment, requiring to return for further exploration in the near future with friendly and family!
