I have been here many times during my travels to Guadalajara and the food is fresh and delicious. They have great Thai and Chinese options and can modify many of the dishes to be vegetarian. The restaurant isn't on a main road, but taxi drivers can easily find the address and the neighborhood they are in is safe. It beautifully decorated and clean, and the owners are very friendly. They spent time in the US and speak English, just in case you are nervous about speaking in Spanish.

“Great flavors, nice portions”
Reviewed September 29, 2011

We are visiting Guadalajara from the Puerto Vallarta area where there arn't many Asian places. All 3 of us enjoyed Tai spice.
We had summer rolls, which are wrapped in rice paper, very fresh and tasty. One person had wonton soup, one had coconut soup. Both were prepared well and tasty.
Entrees- one chicken satay, one chicken with basil, and one "happy family." We all enjoyed our entrees and were stuffed!
Robert, the owner and chef, came to talk to us. He mentioned they are not an authentic Thai restaurant as they are not Thai. The menu reflects other cuisines besides Thai as well, such as Mandarin. He says he and his wife prepare all the sauces so they are consistant, and delicious.
Try Tai Spice for a delicious dinner. It is a lttle hard to find, Robert suggested that if you take a cab, have the driver call for directions. It is very near Av Vallarta and Patri.
