...we're just a gang of smelly middle aged men looking for a shower and clean place to sleep. what we get is so much more at the pine valley lodge. it's a cool shade in hell's canyon and run by great people. a wonderful breakfast and we're off on our motorcycles again. i plan on going here every year.

Room Tip: this is a different sort of b and b...you have tons of choices. i like getting a whole house with the bunkhouse out back...if i was a family i'd probably stay closer to the lodge.

PVL is charming, comfy, friendly, and unique. Crows nest was cute and cozy. Decorations and ample seating areas around property are well done. I wish more B + Bs were like this Place!! Breakfast was continental but quite good; lots of options. There is a shared living space that gives it a true homey feel like a co-op.

We stayed at Pine Valley Lodge as the closest well-reviewed accommodations to Hell's Canyon Adventures. We were delighted with our choice. The proprietors couldn't have been more peasant or more help, providing a good early breakfast so that we and others could arrive well-fed in plenty of time next morning for our jetboat trip. Our little suite in a nicely refurbished cottage was perfect for our needs, and the other guests all were good company. The little community of Halfway was a pleasant throwback to when gas was 38.9/gal. Don't have any expectations of anything much to do there, or any good nearby dining options, and you shouldn't be disappointed.

This was a great stop in the little town of Halfway. Loved the decor
and had the run of the place after 6 pm. We made microwave popcorn
they provided and chatted with other guests on the porch. Nice breakfast
in the morning. Not much available in town for dinner. I'd suggest picking
stuff up at the market and making your own.
