The Inn was spacious, very clean and best of all very welcoming. Turned off our phones and computers and enjoyed the quiet. Hiking, reading, visiting, and sitting...enjoying the views. We stayed in the Rose Room. Very comfortable. Our breakfast was good. We both felt "recharged" after our weekend at the Inn.

Nine guys on a snowmobile trip to Halfway in March 2013. Nice place with great accommodations. The staff is very friendly and the meals and service are great. We plan to go in 2014 and Clear Creek Farm will be our destination.

My wife and I stayed here one night but could have spent a week. The staff is friendly, the food and service are excellent and the room was outstanding. All but one of the bedrooms are on the second floor. The bed was oh so comfortable and the room was spacious. The common areas on the main floor are very well appointed with comfortable leather chairs and couches. It is about 3 miles out of Halfway so they do offer dinner for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also excellent. Was nice just to stay put and enjoy the surroundings. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing, and so much more than I’d hoped for. Trying to find unique lodging in Eastern Oregon is no easy feat so when I came across the website for Clear Creek Farm I figured, too good to be true. And a previous reviewer who had reported a negative experience made me a tad bit leery but I called and lined up our reservation. We couldn’t have been in better hands, and even though we ended up arriving late and in the dark, the owners were more than welcoming, we were bowled over by the accomodations and stayed up ‘til the wee hours out on the veranda, munching on fresh baked cookies, watching the full moon and listening to the creek. Breakfast the next morning, as well as an early morning walk, was supurb. We will definitely be back, probably in every season, since we can’t decide which would be the most beautiful. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Room Tip: Loved the Explorer room upstairs with it's own balcony. Small balcony but we left the door open...

My wife and I chose this location because we were going on a jet boat ride on the Snake River in Hell's Canyon. The launch site is in a remote area. This isn't super close, but close enough to be in a town with some services. The ride to the launch site was pretty spectacular and worth driving anyway. It's a beautifully restored and expanded house on a dirt road on a working cattle ranch with scenic orchards, meadows and mountain backdrop. The house really is elegant and spacious. It's more of an inn than just a B&B, although it was not crowded with other guests while we were there for 2 nights. We reserved the steak dinner for our first night there. That was fabulous. Vicki called our cell phone while we were still on the road to see when we wanted dinner and how we wanted our steaks done. She and her daughter served the 2 of us the full-course dinner in the elegant large dining room. We felt like royalty! The bedroom was spacious and well-appointed with many windows. There are also other common rooms downstairs, also beautifully appointed. We appreciated being able to use a refrigerator in the kitchen (and what a kitchen!). There are lots of cows, horses and deer on and around the property, making for nice walks. We enjoyed the breakfasts cooked for us both mornings by Melody, as well as her cheerful conversation. It is difficult for me to understand any negative reviews of this place based on the service or attention of the owners. As it is also a working cattle ranch, the owners are very much present. We did not really know what to expect in this location, so I would say that the Clear Creek Inn exceeded our expectations in every way.

15 members of the Mt Jefferson Snowmobile Club from Salem Oregon, stayed at the Inn the last week of February 2013. Absolutely wonderful. Vicki, Rachel and Melody were great and alot of fun. Peaceful setting, relaxing atmosphere after a long fun day of riding in the snow. Was nice to come back to a warm and inviting home. We didn't want to leave! We plan to visit again. Thank you so much for everything, just wonderful!

I can't give Clear Creek a very good review because of my recent experience with them. It's too bad because the building itself is beautiful. We were supposed to have our reception there, but the company has very "iffy" business practices. We tried to give them a deposit and get a contract, but they said they prefered to settle everything at the end. We made oral agreements and went ahead with our plans and sent out invitations. Of course they canceled on us last minute. Very poor communication and business practices!!!! I would highly recommend going with a location that has much more reliable management and save yourself the trouble we ended up having to go through!!!!
