My mum and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Morwick House. Every year, I go on several short breaks and I can honestly say that this was one of the best places I have stayed. Lesley was very welcoming without being intrusive. She gave us lots of advice, especially about places to eat in the local area. The accommodation itself was excellent - our room was immaculately clean and bright and modern. Mum and I both agreed that the beds were exceptionally comfy. Little touches like the fresh flowers in our room and providing fresh milk in the room made all the difference. Before our stay, we had read about the fabulous breakfasts and we certainly weren't disappointed! I think it is the first time ever that I have lasted until teatime without anything else to eat! The location of Morwick House is perfect - lovely and quiet but only a short walk down the hill into Warkworth. We will certainly be recommending it to our friends as, last but not least, it was fantastic value for money!

Room Tip: We had the twin room on the side of the house. We liked the fact that we were separate from the main house and we felt we could just come and go as we pleased.

Lesley and Dennis made us so welcome, lovely accommodation and great breakfast, including full English or continental breakfast. So close to the castle and town, we did very much enjoy our two days with them. Thank you both you made our stay at Warkworth very pleasant. Jeanie and Ralph

Room Tip: Our room was very quiet, I would think all rooms would be of a similar type

Morwick House is perfection from the furnishings to the welcome and quiet location. My Mother and I had two lovely nights there and were made very welcome. A welcome cup of tea was awaiting our arrival in the lovely sun room on the side of the house.

Room Tip: We loved the privacy of the outside entrance to our twin room.

Arrived to a warm welcome and a lovely cup of tea. We very quickly got then impression that new visitors were just friends that Lesley and Dennis had not met yet. Superb B & B, confortable , very clean rooms ,excellent breakfast menu and a great base for exploring the area. Would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to friends and family

This is a great b&b, Lesley and Dennis have an easy and friendly hospitality - ready to chat, happy to help, but don't stand talking at breakfast while you are trying to eat! It is no hardship to work your way through the breakfast menu, from continental to local kippers, fresh fruit and yoghurt to full english! All served in the light and bright breakfast room looking onto the lovely garden. The bedrooms are clean and fresh and comfortable and easy to fall into after a hard day exploring historic castles and beautiful beaches and an easy walk from any of the three pubs in the village. This was the third time we have stayed and thoroughly recommend it - only a matter of time before we go again.
