Description: A new welcome addition to the range of restaurants in this tourist area which is currently full of super yachts. The Italian owner and her French chef partner are cooking at a really high standard in this small, but wonderfully formed wooden building. It's possible to watch the chef at close proximity. Each plate is lovingly prepared; all are delicious and some, for example the carpaccio of marlin or the seared tune, are exceptional.

“Brilliant Food”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

This restaurant is very small, very friendly and the food is excellent, and on top of all of that it is not expensive. It offers the most relaxed dining experience possible. You watch your food being put together by the chef, no hidden areas to conduct shady cooking practices.
Can't understand the review by Emale73, the lady was probably Ilana the owner she's a hoot, as Luke T reviews, she's pretty eccentric, but in a good way.
Don't visit that area of Antigua without going to Rumbaba.

“Great food, horrible hostess”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

My wife called here to make a reservation for a Monday evening and got some severe attitude from the lady that answered the phone. She was rude, but eventually took our reservation. Our cab driver called while we were being driven to the restaurant to find out exactly where they were located and the lady got angry that he asked her their location and hung up on him. When we showed up that evening, the same woman told me that we had no reservation and that she had spoken with the 'concierge' from our hotel, but no reservation had been made. That was a flat out lie. She did manage to accomodate us and the food turned out to be really good. The waitress we had was also very good. The place is quite small (5 tables) and they don't take credit cards. They serve what they call mediterranean food, but it was steak and potatos, lamb, fish, etc. I had the lamb and really enjoyed it.
Had we not had such horrible service from the hostess, who happens to be the co-owner, I would give this place high marks, but you just can't be rude to people on the phone and lie to them when they show up.

“service exceptional, cuisine even better, value awesome”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

A very intimate place to go with 4+ of your best friends! The food is delicious for both lunch and dinner, with new specials so we dont get bored. The $5/dish lunch buffet means there is no excuse not to eat there often and the times we have booked the restuarant for special occasions the owners make it just that. My only complaint is that the food needs to be served at a long long table of friends with many bottles of wine flowing all night long but the restaurant can only seat 25 maximum and at small tables no bigger than 6 persons at a time!

“Fantastic food - unbeatable value”
Reviewed May 15, 2012

The only other way to get food this good in Falmouth/English harbour is to go to some of the fancier restaurants and pay almost twice the price. The seared tuna was probably the tastiest meal I had this holiday. The owner is very friendly, chatty and pretty eccentric (in a good way) and the two chefs cooked the food right in front of us in this small, very comfortable restaurant.

After our meal there we immediately booked another meal for our last night. We all agreed our new favorite food in Antigua.
