Description: A new welcome addition to the range of restaurants in this tourist area which is currently full of super yachts. The Italian owner and her French chef partner are cooking at a really high standard in this small, but wonderfully formed wooden building. It's possible to watch the chef at close proximity. Each plate is lovingly prepared; all are delicious and some, for example the carpaccio of marlin or the seared tune, are exceptional.

“Fantastic !!”

One of the best restaurants in Antigua - it may be small but it is big in quality and value. Food is all cooked fresh right in front of you. Have been many times at lunch and dinner and have not been disappointed. Atmosphere and service fantastic - can't wait to go back on our next visit.

“Perfect Parfait”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2012

Very small and intimate place, friendly and warm hosts, it feels more like you are having dinner on a friends terrace rather than being hustled and bustled.

The wine list is small but good value and has a nice mix of grapes and growers. It was served at the right temperature, and the water was fine. San Pelligrano I think.

We started with the Mahi-Mahi cerviche, which was small and delicately presented. Really lovely starter with the right balance of zip and texture.

My wife had a seafood risotto - fantastic, great risott, not too much and just the right balance of seafood too. Really a great dish and one to go back again to enjoy. My lamb was well cooked and had a great flavour but with a little too much on top of it. Just my preference, but overall a very good dish.

Desert - the parfait was just divine. Not too large, the right temperature and just a fantastic dish. Well done. We should have ordered one each, but it's something to look forward to going back for again.

We finished with expressos, again, very good and in the right sized cups.

A very enjoyable evening, hands down the best value for a great dinner in a friendly small location. We will be talking about the parfait for some time yet

“A great little place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2012

We have just returned from our regular annual visit to Antigua where we delighted to come across RumBaba for the first time.
We had a fantastic lunch and the atmosphere was really good with people in and out all the time. Our only regres were that we were a bit late to make use of the popular buffet at EC$5 per item, and also that they were fully booked for the evenings beyond our departure - clearly deservedly popular.
