“cosy and lovely clay oven baked meat”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This review is late I'm sorry , but had to let you know when we came here for a meal in May how lovely a succulent the lamb and suckling pig was that was slow roasted in a cly oven in the restaurant , there is enough to share between 2 , so being a family of 4 we ordered one of each which came with local vegetables. it was a busy restaurant and we were advised to book ahead , but the atmosphere was great and plenty of locals in there too .

“Very good traditional cooking”

Try their clay oven cooked lamb. it is fantastic! It is so tender and juicy with fantastic spices. I am going back for Easter to have it again.

“Sorry, but....”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

I felt I needed to write this review because we had such a distinct experience here - distinctly awful - to us. We realize that it may be a issue of "cultivated" taste. Although we have tasted and enjoyed traditional Mallorcan cuisine - suckling pig, lamb, etc., in other of the Island's restaurants, we have never tasted anything so unbearably gamey. The menu presented the meat as lamb, but I have never tasted any lamb like this. This restaurant came recommended by a local passerby and was well attended during our lunch there so it is clearly a place appreciated by many. I would just like to "warn" other diners that the food we ate was impossibly gamey for our tastes and we are very "liberal" diners. The place itself is cozy and inviting, but be aware! And it is NOT cheap! Nearly $100 U.S. for two of us with two entrees and one bottle of wine.
