Located just off Union Island, Palm Island is a small island with a resort and a few private homes. It takes a small plane ride and a boat to get there, but we were surprised to see handlers waiting at the airport in St. Lucia to expedite us through immigration and to our connecting flight. When we got to Union Island for the boat ride over, again, there were people to assist us quickly through the little airport and to the boat.
Once we arrived at the Palm Island Dock, the staff was waiting there with a welcome drink and it just got better from there on. Excellent food, top shelf spirits, and never a tab at the restaurants or bars. All included!
The rooms reflect the architecture of the West Indies, and the A/C blew cool all week.
From the servers, all the way to the dining manager and G.M., they were always there making sure we had whatever we needed. Thanks Cyril, Ed, Bert, Olive, Hulva, Johnny, Katie, and everyone else who made the trip so memorable.
