“Lovely place to stay”

We only stayed one night but a lovely place to stay. Comfortable bed and lovely service - I would recommend as a great place to base yourself for Ditchling, Brighton and beyond.

Liked best: the bed and the open plan feel and the vision of an old post office, not to mention friendly pub over the road who let us park off the road
Liked least: cooker hood extractor didn't seem to be working.......

“Lovely single storey quirky old Post Office”
Reviewed August 14, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The best thing about this building is it is one one level, no stairs.
It is a quirky old building, converted from an old post.
It consists of a comfortable lounge and window seat., King size bed and spacious bedroom with a bathroom that has a bath and a separate shower. There is a lovely pub right across the road, where you can park your car, as long as you go see them to check, and probably have a drink and a meal or 2 while your there. Very convenient, no worry about driving home. Local shops only 5 minute drive. We had a relaxing 4 days there. Only 1 1/2 hour drive to Dover Castle, which surprised us. Close enough to our friends in Horsham, they loved coming to visit.

“Super base; great bed!”
Reviewed July 8, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed here for just over a week in April and found it very comfortable and a great location. The flat is very well equipped and has a very comfortable bed - crucial for me! It is a great base if your looking to walk in the South Downs and a cost-effective way of visiting Brighton without the parking hassles. The station is ten minutes walk away and it is a ten minute journey to Brighton. The owner is very helpful
