IT was a pleasant flight with great customer service ...food was perfect
just a note ...you should not accomodate very small kids in buisness class...i m sorry , but they cry all the trip

Inbound flight KK 6008 Sunday 23rd July Stanstead to Istanbul, departure
time 1.35pm Inbound flight kK 0014 Sunday 23rd July Istanbul to Antalya,
departure time 9.50pm

When we arrived at the check in desk for this flight there was only one
person at the counter for a very large queue and they were working extremely
slowly such that within 45 mins they had only dealt with one family. Once
they noticed this was too slow more people attended other counters, roughly
3-4 in the end but this was still not fast enough to deal with the check in
crowd and thus check in was still happening at 1.30pm. When we got to the
check in desk at 1pm we asked if the flight would be delayed as it was
obvious it would be, we were told it was still running on time which we
found remarkable. Someone mentioned that check in started late because the
flight had arrived late but this was not the case as I confirmed with other
members of the Atlas Global Team. Because the check in was so slow we didn't
embark onto the plane until 2pm and once everyone was seated and ready to go
we were already more than an hour late.

Further more bad weather hit the airport resulting in us actually leaving at
4.30pm. Now this would mean we would miss our connecting flight to our
destination of Antalya and so we were rightly concerned. We raised this
issue with the air stewardess who said she would get back to us. Soon later
the pilot himself announced on the PA system that all connecting flights
would be waiting for us in Antalya and that they will not leave until we had
arrived to which there was a loud cheer and applause int he aircraft as many
people had connecting flights.

We arrived in Istanbul at 9.50pm and left the aircraft by 10pm and to our
horror we were told we had missed our flight. I was furious as firstly, we
had been told all connecting flights will be waiting and secondly, how they
couldn't wait a little longer for us to arrive. This was shocking treatment.
My mother and I were the only passengers travelling to Antalya from that
flight and we know there had been more of us I am sure the airline would
have made the flight wait for us to arrive but instead ignored us as it was
probably cheaper for them, customer satisfaction is not important evidently.
Most of our anger was directed at how the pilot guaranteed us that our
flight would be waiting for us.

If we had been informed on the plane that our flight will not be waiting we
could prepare ourselves and make arrangements but to be let down like this
is unacceptable and terrible customer care. I also strongly feel if the
staff from the airline at Stanstead airport had worked efficiently then we
wouldn't have missed our flight as we would have left before the storm hit.

As a result, we lost half a day as the next flight was at 1130am the next
day and so we lost 12 hours of our short holiday and wasted money on both a
hotel night stay and a 5 star breakfast.

When we asked for a complimentary upgrade to business class we were told that there were no more seats left yet on the plane to antalya the following day there were two free business class seats!

However, on top of all that we had a problem in Antalya airport too. We were
told our baggage would go with the morning flight and not to worry. When we
arrived in Antalya everyone's luggage had arrived except ours and naturally
we were concerned Atlas Global had forgotten it in Istanbul. Only when we
went to the lost and found office were we told that our baggage was in the
international terminal (a different terminal) and on the baggage claim belt.
We were furious that we were not informed it would be arriving at a
completely different terminal and had to find out once everyone had claimed
their baggage. The staff clearly new this was the case as it took them 3
seconds to look at our baggage receipt and tell us where our bag will be yet
the staff at Istanbul airport both in the evening and at check-in in the
morning failed to share this important information.

Further more the 2 flights we took on returning back home were also late by
at least half an hour for take off. Every one of their flights has been
delayed, Terrible service.

When we made a formal complaint to Atlas Global about all of the above they refused to acknowledge their mistake in all of this and did not offer any compensation.

The worst airline. Avoid like the plague.

sort hop flight very friendly smiling staff who went out of their way on this short flight to facilitate every ones requests. A complimentary drink and sandwich was served which was very welcome. would fly again with atlas and would recommend this airline

We booked and paid for our flights on the Atlasglobal website in April 2017. We flew from Istanbul to Antalya on 8 July 2017. The day before our return flight from Antalya to Istanbul, we were confirming our transfer from the hotel to the airport, when we were informed that there was no such flight . That's when the nightmare started. The flight had been cancelled shortly after we had booked and paid for it in April. We were not informed either by sms or email. Also, why was this not told to us when we checked in on our way from Istanbul to Antalya. All the flights were full. We received absolutely no help from Atlasglobal. They claim all passengers were informed. Where is the proof?Then they claimed that we must follow up with our booking agent. We did not book with a booking agent! We booked on the Atlasglobal website! The call centre wasn't much help either. English seems to be a problem. In order to meet our flight from Istanbul back to Cape Town, the following took place: We Had to leave Antalya earlier than planned, we had to book business class, the call centre agent said he would credit the cancelled fight sector, this did not happen, we approached Atlasglobal in Antalya airport, no help, we approached Atlasglobal at Ataturk airport, no help, in fact they are downright rude, we then had to spend an uncomfortable day at the airport till 01h55. Never ever Atlasglobal again!!!
