The A330 business pods are the best seating Qantas has to offer in business. The flight was let down by an unexplained late departure and a pretty ordinary menu for business class. Also the renovated business cabins have cut the toilets from 2 to 1 that leads to long queues at times. As usual the crew were great, a good mix of professional and friendly but in a trip that used business class on both Malaysian and Qantas I would prefer MH.

My husband and I flew Qantas home to Perth from Sydney and the time went very slowly due to the poor options for in flight movies, many options were for children.
The food remained a very poor standard.
I think the plane could have done with a good clean including floor, armrests, tables and I pad screens.
The flight crew were friendly.

The Flight crew on this flight were friendly but the food and inflight entertainment remained poor.
Thank goodness was a short flight.

Once again the inedible meals let the Qantas experience down yet again.
On our flight from Perth to Brisbane my husband and I went for the lamb biryani option for lunch out of a very uninteresting selection.
The lamb was totally missing replace by a few sultanas !!!! totally inedible all followed up with an icy pole !! What adults eat and enjoy icy poles ?
Lift your game Qantas.

Flew from Paris to Auckland & back from Christchurch with Quantas - the standard & customer services was very good & the ground staff very helpful. The food quality was very variable and the choice of menus some what surprising.

If you have a long stop over in Australia (over 8 hours) , you need a visa even if you intend to stay in the transfer zone ! The visa is free, but if Quantas issue the visa at the airport, it costs 50NZD - also, they can only issue visas for certain countries.
