I have travelled with Qantas exclusively (apart from one bad Flight on Hawaii Airlines). I have found the service & Efficency of staff Excellent. From Check in to Flight Very smooth, Unless no service Qantas all the way'

Always prefer to fly Qantas, great service easy check in on line, entertainment excellent, food ok for short flights

I fly very regularly between Brisbane and Darwin, mostly in Business class but sometimes in economy.
At check-in things are much quicker as a Business class passenger and of course access to the lounge is a welcome point where there is good coffee and nice eats.

Certainly in Business class the service is consistently outstanding from the time you step aboard the aircraft to the time you disembark. There is one outstanding flight service Manager I come across fairly often named Charles Fenech (?spelling) and he is outstanding. I am made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The cabin staff will help with luggage and coats and help arrange things in the overhead lockers.

The seats are wide and there is plenty of leg room. One of the great things is that the seats have some padding and are very comfortable - infinitely more so than compared with their competition, especially Virgin whose seats are like sitting on rock.

At arrival the staff will help get things organised for disembarkation. It's not that far to the baggage pick up and one is invariably there before the bags arrive.

A 12 hour plus flight and it uwas a good experience , easy swift check in and nice on board staff who don't over fuss you but are right there if you want them, plenty of refreshments etc on offer through the flight with crew bringing them round constantly.
On time departure and early arrival. You want for nothing for what you pay.

The Qantas staff if excellent. The flight from DFW to Sydney is a dog of a flight--17 hours--but the staff do everything they can to make it as pleasant as possible. Boarding and seating went very smoothly.
