Very comfortable seat but large metal partition made it impossible to speak with my wife in the next seat!

Fair choice of in-flight entertainment and a very good menu which was resented excellently. Only downside is the grumpt attitude of some of the cabin crew.

We found the economy seats quite comfortable. During the outward journey the flight was not full. During the return journey it was packed.
The vegetarian meal served during the Mumbai- Amsterdam sector was far from satisfactory. During the return journey the non-vegetarian meal was a considerable improvement and more suited to our palette.
During the return journey we barely made it, our luggage missed the flight - probably the transit time was not sufficient. However, the luggage was delivered to our residence the next day.

KLM operates an interesting fifth freedom short haul flight from Singapore to the resort island of Bali. This flight, KLM 835 flies from Amsterdam making a stopover in Singapore then it flies onwards to Bali. The return flight is coded KLM 836.

But I have to say the crews are professional and very friendly. KLM only serve one small meal during the short two hours flight from SIN to Denpasar and the food is unimaginative but it serves to tie one over until you can gorge yourself on the amazing food in Bali. As you can imagine this flight is full of tourists so it makes it for a nice fun flight as everyone is on a holiday mood but it also means everyone has big carry on bags. Still the embarking and disembarking process KLM has is pretty efficient. I will recommend it when they have promotions. Else it’s cheaper to get the budget carriers instead.

Good ground and onboard service, in-time, reasonable pricing. Flight completely full... so no extra comfort with free seats.

From the smooth check in to boarding and the adequate attention to details by the entire crew, it was a relaxing and comfortable experience. The in flight entertainment was interesting.
