We had a 6am flight to Dalaman from Stanstead airport recently. Having left home at 3am we were not at our best but the guy directing people prior to check-in was so friendly and alive that it cheered us up for the rest of the day. Having already booked in on line we went straight to the self-serve luggage machine where again a lovely lady help us with our cases. Once on board our 737 there was ample leg room and the seats were fixed so no “seat in front of you in your face scenario”. We had pre ordered a breakfast which was delivered first before the trolley service. This is where my only adverse comment comes in that the table is rather small and fixed so eating was a bit awkward. There was no on board entertainment system but for the length of flight no problem. All the cabin staff were friendly and helpful. I will certainly use again.

flight fine but transfer was terrible...i complained about faulty bus ...and driving in slow lane all the way to Side because of faulty tyres and door not closing and also driver went 3 times down one way street the wrong way...i have been told by customer services that this was fine and exceptable to drive on under inflated tyres...they say no risk to customers on a motorway ? so it would seem jet2.com have no health and safety measures for their customers and only interested in taking their money ..i for one can not except this is exceptable but they do...in future i will take photos and video of such terrible conditions...lesson learnt...shame on you Jet2.com

One of the biggest cons that Jet 2 have is the email you received to say that you can check in online and when you do you have to pay for your seats on both outbound and inbound journeys adding a minimum of £40 to the cost of your flight/holiday. they are often short on food and drink on your return flights to the UK, and the statement they tell you that you can only drink alcohol purchased on the plane is not to stop people getting drunk it's so they do not lose out on sales. We flew from Leeds to Malta and on arrrival at our hotel found that the lock on my wife's suitcase had been cut off, fortunately there were just clothes in the suitcase and nothing was missing. I know that people will say this is not jet2 fault but this happens all over the world and not with Jet2, but I think airlines in geneal should have a member of staff to oversee the offloading of luggage at airports to ensure cases are not tampered with and are placed onto the transport to the terminal and not thrown all over the place.

Jet2 have never let us down Their no frills service is clean, safe, efficient and timed. There are no hidden extras, the snacks and drinks are reasonable and the planes up to scratch.

No hassle flight , would recommend this airline as staff very helpful & we arrived in Tenerife early & into newcastle early , only downside was the seats we booked together from seat planner prior to holiday were not where we got but didn't really spoil our holiday or first experience flying with jet2
