Trip is long but the warm service by the cabin crews are great. bought the extra leg space seats, pretty wide for the leg but not the seat, seat is just nicely fit with not much extra space.
Food while is good for the trip from Singapore to Helsinki but not so well for the return trip (maybe not used to the Fin food), movie while, not much selection, doesn't have the latest movie but fine with it.
Best thing is the cabin crew provide free flow of chocolate and the great berry juice.

Delayed 19 hours without compensation, covers nothing, refuses claim and has a bad servicedesk,

bad service on the flight, narow rows, bad food and overall a very bad experience

I am a business class passenger on the flight. from Helsinki to HK. The flight was due to depart at 11:55pm, boarding at 11:15pm. At approx 10:30pm we were informed of a delay to boarding to 11:55pm. At approx 11:50pm we were again informed of a delay in boarding until 1:15am. No explanation, no apology.. This was then immediately followed by the closing of Finnair’s Business Class lounge with the result that all business class passengers eere effectively thrown out of the lounge with nowhere even to sit anywhere near the gate for the plane for the next hour and a quarter.Again no apologies, no explanation.It is now 12:30am and still waiting to see if and when the flight might leave. There has been no explanation at all offered for the delay. Finnair business class between Australia and Europe is not cheap and there are plenty of competitors. There is no ability to lodge a complaint-just a web address to get a customers feed back form. Very poor customer service throughout. Really now looking
forward to having dinner served on the flight at about 3am. Suggest if you are considering flying Finnair look elsewhere.

We flew to Bangkok from London Heathrow via Helsinki must admit not impressed with ground staffs but flight attendants were excellent..food was ok..We almost missed our connecting flight from Helsinki to London due to very short connecting and delayed .. we quite disappointed here with NO FREE alcohol drinks serve on board only soft drinks.. with a long haul flight would be nice to have a glass of wine or gin&tonic not to pay for plus paying for the seats

The flight with a step-over in Helsinki was pretty good. The service at the airport was good, the staff very friendly and Helsinki is a nice airport.
Unfortunately, no inflight entertainment and no food or drinks during the longer flight from Cologne to Helsinki.
