First time used airline for Autumn holiday and was disappointed as flight was delayed for more than 2 hours, then everyone was made to wait again on way back to UK as plain was late again. Overpriced food on board in comparison with Ryanair, on return wasn't enough water to go round for all people on board. And they are not that cheap to fly with.

I'm 6'4" so I always book our seats with extra leg room it probably adds about £15 per person each way , which I find well worth it as it also automatically gives you speedy boarding which means you get on the plane first and there is always room for your hand luggage above your seat and there is no chance of them putting your bag in the hold when the lockers are full. We use them a lot and the staff are always friendly and helpful and 95% of their flights are on time. A budget airline that is pretty efficient

Easyjet managed to lose my bag on the outward journey. By 11:30 the bag had been found at Manchester and we were told that if we provided PIR number they would get it on the next flight at 4pm. Did not happen and Facebook messages were ignored. Bag contained warm clothes and medication. Rang Easyjet customer services who advised not their problem. Surely it is as our contract is with them. It was like talking to a robot. They put us on hold and left us on hold for nearly 10 minutes. Then hung Up!! Bag arrived at the airport 11am the next day and the 1 hour trip took 8 hours!!. Complained on Facebook link and like no care or interest. Staff did not respond. The reason we complained on Facebook was that case arrived broken and unusable. Brand new and first time we had used it. The executive team that we eventually spoke to are even worse. What do you want to resolve it. A new case for starters. They cannot help us we need to go online and do it ourselves. How about some discount off our holiday with you in June next year. Cannot help but can give you £50.00 towards another flight. Why would I want to fly with you again. A disgrace to customer service and the airline industry. Cancelled the holiday booked with them next year.

We had been forewarned by family that there were strong winds and snow forecast for Aberdeen, so we wondered whether we might be delayed/cancelled/diverted. None of it. We were informed by the captain as we passed overhead Leeds that air traffic control at Aberdeen had asked him to slow down a bit, as there was snow on the runway that was being cleared. We sensed that the captain was already working out 'plan B' in case the airport closed. But we had a straight run in, setting down into a head wind, reverse thrusts fully on and stopped in a short distance. We were just 8 minutes behind schedule.

The aircraft itself was probably one of easyJet's older A319s by the seats and seat covers, but it did its job. The cabin crew were personable and attentive. What more do your need in an hour's flight?

The ground staff at Gatwick were chirpy for a Friday evening, and polite, calling each passenger by name as they checked them through the departure gate. Some of the world's full cost airlines could learn from them!

I was never a fan of low cost airlines in the past, but recent experiences with easyJet have changed my mind. How else could one travel from Aberdeen to Gatwick for £21 and return for just on £40?
