Review of British Airways

This was a good flight in there 380. This is a very comfortable plane and generally a good flight . Food was well above average. This plane is very quiet.

BA has really lost the plot. The seat configuration was quite unusual. There were three seats but they left the middle seat blocked. The food was barely edible. The chicken menu was hard as a rubber. I flew economy from Gatwick to Marrakech and that was bad. There was no free hot drinks. You have to litterally buy everything. I thought flying business class on my return was a nicer experience but I was wrong. It was only slighty better than economy other than that nothing was special. Even the crew were not friendly and engaging. Will think twice flying with BA again. Such a shame.

I found the seats a little uncomfortable. While the lie flat position was fine if you are looking to sit up somewhat straight it was kind of awkward especially if you are short, it was difficult to reach the footrest. Not a huge selection of movies either.

This was a 5 hour flight in economy class, and to be fair the journey was comfortable. I was concerned that a flight of this length (not long-haul but long enough) would be too much in a standard seat, but it was fine. Good seat width on the Boeing 767 and enough leg room. Nothing is complimentary anymore - you can buy food and drink on-board which is Marks and Spencer branded (tip: it is cheaper to buy your food beforehand and take in on with you). BA also charge extra if you want to pre-book a particular seat and that isn't cheap to do. We take a nice sized tablet with us to watch films etc. on, which was lucky as there were no seat back TVs on this flight.

Be warned. They lost our bag. They offered no refund and no apology. Customer service we found to be truly appalling.
