“Unusual Journey back home”
Review of Asiana Airlines

Reviewed December 4, 2017

1st time to use Asiana Airline. The service is very good and foods serve is open unlike with other airlines company that appears there is a limitation for meals and snacks were not all the way serve but one have to buy or purchase food. With Asiana we got free snacks and meals on during our trip duration.

I witness too on how Asiana staff responded to one Passenger that complaint of short breath that seems she has having a stroke so there were so many Passengers who volunteered to check the condition of the said Passenger. Close to where I was seated even one passenger beside me volunteer to check and monitor the condition of the sick passenger and a lot of Asiana Staff were there to get what is needed and their respond and expressed concerns is very commendable and really excellent.

Note: The Sick Passenger was transferred in front of where I am seated thus I witnessed all the activities and happenings. It took more than an hour before everything wemt to normal.

First time flying with Asiana and I'll have to say it was a solid experience, flying business class on an international flight. Considering my return trip back to the U.S.A was on American Airlines in business class, Asiana beat out the service of AA.

Though I found Asiana to be a "no frills business class" it actually beat out AA for its inflight customer experience - from attention received, food quality and comfortability.

For the price, cheaper than most business class service, it outdid AA and I'm a lifetime status holder on AA.

Though it's baggage handling service and execution needs attention, they broke one of the wheels off my luggage, the overall service still beats many of its competitors

Flight was great but had a significant problem when checking in at Seattle. Philippine immigration requires a return or onward ticket to be allowed entrance to Philippines. This can be a pain
but its the law and you have to obey it. When I arrived at Asiana counter I showed my ticket from Manila to Taipei I purchased before. It was for travel March 15 2018. The agent refused me to board plane because he said I needed a return or onward ticket within 30 days of arriving Philippines. This dont make sense cause many tourist stay longer and get a extended visa. Since my flight was soon and I could not afford to miss I was forced to buy another ticket to leave 15 b
days after arriving in Philippines. I argued with agent but he refused to look into it. I think travelers should be sure to check into this before flying on Asiana,

This was my first flight between Asian countries and I was a little nervous because of all the talk that you hear about the seats being smaller and what not. But the seats were actually very comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were very courteous. They provided me with all the documents that I needed to go through customs and tried to speak to me as much as possible in English.
