I'm 6ft 1, a regular traveller and made this huge mistake. Do not use this seat long haul unless you are a small child, a contortionist or, perhaps, a masochist and then they can change you more and it will be perfect for you! Under three hours was survivable, but if 12hrs to Singapore, I would have been taken off on a straight jacket. The narrowness of the leg room is a new, cruel and unusual form our torture as the picture attests...

Other than that, great usual service from Air NZ

What a miserable flight! The cabin temperature was set to freezing and despite numerous passengers complaining, the only response was to hand out multiple blankets to each passenger. Nothing available to eat for a vegetarian and only two opportunities for a tiny cup of water or tea. Cabin crew did a quick food service after take off in the afternoon, then turned the lights down and disappeared until the end of the flight when they did another quick food service just before landing in early evening. A long and miserable 6 1/2 hour flight!

Family of four travelling with Air New Zealand for the first time. Great friendly staff, great service and a long flight made very enjoyable.

From the moment I entered the plane until reaching my destination I was impressed with the attention to detail and the great customer service I received from every member of staff. I will definitely fly with Air New Zealand again.

Nice Monday morning departure from Auckland to Rarotonga with Nicki my partner , my son Kendall and his partner Tash, very disappointed we all did not get to sit next to each other or even close, Nicki and I had to sit across the isle from each other while Kendall and Tash were some 10 rows up and again opposite each other in an isle, disappointed as this was the first time we had all travelled together and were looking forward to the chats etc through to Rarotonga.
The flight back to NZ was even worse for Kendall and Tash as they weren't even seated next to each again in fact some 4 rows apart, not good enough when you pay and book to travel this far and was booked some 6 months ago,
Very Dissapointed.
