From start to end, our experience with Air France deserves 5 stars. The crew deserve at least 7 stars as they went above and beyond our expectations.

Thank goodness they still care about the customer even in economy. Love the extra touch with champagne and they don’t nickel and dime you for the drinks. Keep up the great job

Booked this fare online 6 months before flight at a good price. At time of booking was not aware that baggage wasn't included in the fare as thought Air France a full service airline.
It was only when checking-in online 24 hours ahead discovered that baggage not included but could be purchased ahead online for 25euros/bag which I proceeded to do, but system defaulted midway through this operation and the message came up that bags could only be paid for at airport check-in at Milan.
At Milan check-in the price was now 40euros/bag take it or leave it. What choice? We had to pay.
This is the most I have ever paid for a standard bag with any airline.
At least the Low Cost Carriers tell you all the charges you're going to be up for and allow you to do this online. Sadly not Air France.

I booked a KLM but flew Air France as they have ties to use each others services in Netherlands & France. The aircraft was operated by Hops and was the tiniest that I ever sat into (perhaps because of the destination Strasbourg). But the flight attendant was sweet and the meal was also decent. I wished for a little more leg room but it was alright for a short haul flight. In all there was nothing great to complain about. Had a healthy 1st experience

The flight was great but with a very poor audio system, 11.5hrs can become rather long... Most English movies didn't want to load and screens need serious updating. I paid some extra to have more leg space in the economy + section. I normally never book AF as there always is a high risk of strikes in France.
