This was our 8th cruise with RCL and as Diamond members and booked into an Owners Suite, we're used to the kind of exceptional service RCL promises and, to be fair, usually gives. Not on this ship though, with a really disappointing attitude among many of the staff. Zero interest in freeing up sun beds from the towel reserving brigade; no-one ever in the gym to stop the kids messing on the machines or people hogging them for way beyond the allowed 30 mins; poor service (astonishingly) in the Concierge lounge where only the Royal Suite guests seemed to get decent service; and even the specialist restaurant staff seeming not to be that bothered.
It was really surprising, especially when I had to complain 3 times about no hot water and even that didn't prompt any kind of response from Guest Services.
To be fair RCL responded really positively when I followed up these issues after the cruise, and we did have a lovely time despite the grumbles. We have one more RCL cruise booked next year to see if if really was a one-off. RCL used to treat suite guests superbly well, hopefully this was a 1-off as we hear great things about the suite services on Norwegian and MSC.

We had a Junior Suite, my husband needs his retreat space and it was lovely. I also need to add that all of our service providers from the room attendant to the dining room were terrific! The food choices at buffets for breakfast and lunch were extensive and I found it easy to

We recently completed transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Miami. The ship is slightly older than the others in the fleet but don't let this put you off. The ship is clean, food excellent and staff very attentive. We were very lucky with the weather which was just as well as

RCCL Vision of the Seas is an older ship but clean and the food is wonderful. Activities are many and the service overall is very good. Remember that the price you pay for this transatlantic cruise is such a wonderful deal! So you can not be upset if the ship is not perfect.
