restaurants within walking distance of Hotel Belmar

Does anyone have recommendations for restaurants within walking distance of Hotel Belmar? I read in a review that someone walked from nearby El Establo to Sofia's. Is that making sense? Any others?

You don't need to leave Belmar to eat - their restaurant is beautiful and the food was wonderful with great service. We enjoyed every meal on the veranda overlooking the cloud forest and the ocean. We walked into town - it's a pretty long and steep walk back. We did stop at a bat exhibit on our hike back from the co-op, but there was no one around. There was a restaurant in the same building which was open, but no one was eating there at the time (1 PM in March).

Just thought I would post a follow-up to this. We did enjoy meals at Hotel Belmar. Also, we went to the restaurant high on the hill at El Establo for an amazing sunset. It was helpful to learn that their shuttle will take you up, even if you are not a guest of the hotel. Another treat was Chimera for lunch. It's across the street from El Establo. The portions of tapas made it possible for us to try a number of different things. We also had quiche at Stella's bakery. That walk felt longer, given our tired legs, but was still feasible. Overall, we had lots of delicious food in Monteverde.
