Holetown beach project

We are going to Holetown for 10 days on the 20th November 2013 and are concerned about beach works and the area looking like a building site and closed. We ve had this trip booked since January and are looking forward to our first time in Barbados but are very concerned. Does anyone know what's going on ?

Hi, I am also staying at Mango Bay as of next Week. Have got an option to move further down the west coast to Waves, would anyone recommend this or do you think we will be ok staying at Mango Bay?

I posted on the other restoration thread . I really would not recommend that you change to Waves. you have no reason to change at all and those who have in the past have regretted it. and returned to MB .

Has anyone got any update on what the situation is now that we have passed the date by which work should have finished?

All work in the areas of Surfside to Settlers Beach is finished, The work on the Fluidiser is on hold until next year and work at Folkstone Park is on going. I hope that helps Attila ?

The beach today is wide, flat and soft ( but for the odd place ) The sea is rough, and it's bringing in more and more soft sand , as predicted by the designers of the restoration work .

Well done to those people from all of us ------------------so far .
