Mosquito-borne virus spreads in Caribbean

Very disturbing article I read in the Toronto Star today (May 3/14). Since I am usually a Cuban bound traveler, wanted to give a heads up to friends travelling to Cuba as well as all of the Caribbean.

Recently returned from Don Lino in Rafael Freyre and recall one friend/guest having a terrible reaction to bites - wondering if this article could shine any light for her.

Safe travels......

There has been no confirmed cases in Cuba so far, so there is no need to panic...

But it's always good to protect yourself against mosquitos bites, where ever you travel to.
