Canadians and Electrical power at PCV.

OK. To all Canucks (sorry Brits you can sit this one out) can anyone please confirm ABSOLUTELY that we DO NOT require A/C adaptors for all appliances and electrical powered gear - specifically IPOD chargers.

I bought an ipod charger for 110v at Wal-mart for $14 CDN. No more comp needed. I also bought a speaker case that has a carabiner (sp) clip to attach to your beach bag or chair, that was $10 at KMart.

We are leaving for Sirenis Playa Turquesa this friday, 17th. I was talking to a freind who was at this same resort and said that there is 110 in the bathroom but 220 in the main room. She said her hairblower would not work in the bathroom. Possibly battery / ipod chargers would though. I went to The Future Shop and purchased a voltage converter for around $60. We can use hair blowers and hair straighteners with this.
