We’re having two weeks in a villa is there anything food wise that’s a lot more expensive in paphos what we could bring from the uk
Nothing worth bringing from the UK unless you like a particular brand of tea and coffee.
Everything else you can buy in supermarkets.
Thanks that’s great
Are the prices about the same
You need to buy local for the best prices so if you want cornflakes buy the local brand and not Kelloggs. Avoid buying imported brands and then you won't pay extra.
Fruit, veg and met is all roughly the same as at home
Cheese. If you like cheese bring some it’s expensive. Philipos is good, papintonios better.
Fruit and Veg you won’t beat Seilis farm shop next to go karts.
If using a taxi avoid Roberts Taxi.
Greedy man never on time so he can squeeze extra jobs in. Never keeps drivers... draw your own conclusions.
Cheese ..... in your luggage, rather you than me.
We find the cheese selection at Papantoniou supermarket and others to be good and no more expensive than buying the same thing in Tesco at home
Maybe you need to check the prices. When were you last in Tesco uk ? Cheese is at least double the price. The hold on the aircraft is temperature controlled. It’s cold enough in the uk to not affect the cheese and isn’t in the heat long enough at arrivals.
I was in Papantoniou 2 weeks ago and Tesco last weekend.
Bought fabulous blue cheese, smoked cheese, brie, and edamer in Paps for the same price as Tesco - perhaps buying from the deli counter is the answer.Edited: 10:48 am, September 12, 2018
