Thinking of booking up - pizza question

Hello everyone, we're thinking of getting booked up for the Kapetanios apartments for next year.

My hubby is a very fussy eater. I'm veggie but like to try as many different things as I can while he pretty much only eats pizza/chips/bread/cheese. I've seen that there is town pizza restaurant but can anyone tell me if any/many other places do pizza also? He doesn't have to have pizza every night (he has to please me sometimes) but a bit of choice would be good.

Also, we will have our 5 year old son with us. Do many places do kids meals or would we just order from normal menu?

Thanks all :)

Hi there

Most places will do a pizza, even if it's not on the menu, just ask the waiter. Most places offer kids' meals too, although they tend to be along the lines of "chicken nuggets & chips", not much choice usually. If your son is a bit more adventurous, and fancies a meal from the main part of the menu, just ask the waiter for a smaller portion, they will happily oblige.

The new Mediterranean Village definitely does pizza. The Margarita was very bland, but the hotter one, which had chillis on, was much better.

I think I've seen pizza on the menu at Waves and Fantasea too.

That's great, thanks. Gives a few choices at least. Can't wait to get booked up.

As in most countries, pizzas are made at a local pizza factory and distributed to those who want them. As a result, many of the places serving them will have exactly the same ones. If you can, find someone who makes their own from scratch, including the dough. Pizzas are not just from Italy and one specialist restaurant in Roda used to claim that they originated near to Thessaloniki. It would seem that they developed in parallel anywhere that there was flour, water and tomatoes.

Went to Town Pizza when I stayed in San Stef at the Kapetanios apartments too. Town pizza was absolutely fab - also had a good selection of Greek foods too. Much nicer than the restaurants on the strip. Ozzy Oil was also fab . Kids meals never a problem - usually a kids menu everywhere .

Watch out for tired legs - quite a hike up hill back to apartments. Remember a few shoulder rides with my then 4 and 5 year olds!
