Hi

What sort of budget are you looking to spend?

Poppies or Samui Paradise a couple you could look at.

Choeng Mon and Chaweng (even the quieter south chaweng) are like chalk and cheese. If you loved Chong Mon, Chaweng might be a bit of a shock to the system. Have you considered one of the other quieter parts of the island instead such as Maenem or Chaweng Noi (sweet peas the expert on this area).

Hi

Agree with twiggyrex you might like to try Chaweng noi beach, the beach here are just a beautiful as Cheongmon beach. Hence the name NOI in Thai mean small Chaweng noi beach is just a small beach with just 6 resorts on the beach and just a few restaurant& bars on the beach ( more on the main road front car entrance or the resort). Its very quiet and peaceful. The beach situated between south chaweng and Lamai beach.

Not knowing your budget but you might like to checkout these following resorts anyway.

1. Imperial beach resort ( don't be confused with imperial boat house in Cheongmon beach they are sister hotel) big swimming pool right on the beach with most room with ocean views

2. New star villas again big swimming pool

3. Fair house beach resort

4. If you wants luxury there's new hotel just open up " Vana Belle" Its 5* resort.

Hope this help :)

I agree with the Poppies and Samui Paradies recommendation, the pool at Poppies is tiny but the beach in front makes up for it.

Chewang is certainly not quietish. You can try South Chewang but IMO it won't be as nice and quiet as Cheong mon.

I agree with Pea's suggestion of Chewang Noi, that might fit your requirements.
