I am thinking on doing the bike ride in june 2012 offered through www.edirisa.org .uk

290 km from kigali to byumba to kidaho to mushongero to kabele ending at lake bunyoni in uganda over 7 days

has anyone done anythig like this ??? and how challanging could it be ?

yes and i'm signed up for this one

i've do 2 other challanges for "transAid" one in Kenya and last year in Tanzania

both organized by classic tours very well arranged managed on the ground by a south african called Henk a great bloke the support team last year absolutely fanstastic good bike well maintaned good food had 2 nights camping which was interesting but 3rd night at Saadani was 5*

i could go on & on

hopefully see you there

it's a 150% way to see the countryside stopping in villages chatting with the kids grrrrreat stuff can't wait
