Current weather

Is the weather really as bad this September as weather outlets are showing? Would be surprised if it was.

Just came back.

There was thunderstorm and a bit of rain in the evening, but during the day, very warm and sunny!

There was quite a lot of rain on thursday, from about 15h30 to 16h15 or so, but we stayed on the beach and the ocean.

So, indeed, you might get rain, but all day? That would be unlucky. But it can happen.

we got caught in a rain storm, it was massive a few years ago on the Cayo Santa Maria beach. Man was that rain cold though! lol. we were drenched! good to keep an umbrella with you just in case! some resorts do have them though, not sure if the Memories does. So far no sign of hurricanes.. i haven't looked as I don't want to jinx it!

Hola

The weather it appears now to be back to normal patterns, the second week of sept. was very hot and hotter than normal...at least from our experience and what our friends where telling us. The weather did change on the 15th, more typical....clouds would roll in late in the afternoon, and then rain...each day. The one thing it is truly amazing how fast the grass and surrounding fields at Jibacao greened up....

At CSM when it is raining during the day, it great to be in the ocean, many times it is very calm then...it is what it is with the weather...just enjoy what comes...

cheers.
