padded beach or pool chairs

Do any of the resorts in Cayo Santa Maria have padded beach or pool lounges? We are considering going to Melia Las Dunas.

Is the beach good to walk on?

chairs at the pool and beach are the same at las dunas..they are the ones with plastic frame and a woven mesh-like material. Along the beach most of the hotels seemed to have this type of chair, or the the plastic loungers.

Beach at the Melia Las Dunas is AMAZING - (I've only been to this resort on Cayo Santa Maria so I can't speak for the other resorts but I assume the same!) - hands down the best beach we've ever seen!

We stayed at Melia Las Dunas the year it opened. There are 2 pools, one was the family pool with kids activities, this pool had regular plastic type loungers. The other pool was quiet with no daily entertainers and no kids. The pool had nice wooden loungers with a thick pad on top. This quiet pool is where we hung our hat for a week.
