Does someone know the Canadian rates for CUC at the band next to the Iberostar Daiquiri and what is the rates at the resort and the rates at the airport? Or are they all the same?

The rates at the Bank should be higher than the rates at the Cadeca at your resort, which is likely to be the same, or slightly higher than, the airport Cadeca (though this is not always the case).

This is a comparison table of how the rates compare:

1. Bank

2. Cadeca in a town

3. Cadeca at Resort hotel

4. Cadeca at Airport

5. Front desk at hotel

This site gives you the official daily rate of exchange at a Bank:

http://www.banco-metropolitano.com/tasasn.htm

By using my comparison guide you will get slightly lower exchange rates as you move from 1-5.

Another site that gives an accurate calculation of what you get for your money is this site run by Leonard Whistler:

www.604images.com/cuba_currency/index.php

Most other sites you may see reference to do not give you an accurate rate as they give you a middle market price between the buy / sell spread and not the tourist rate of exchange.
