Going to Greece shortly so will look out for reply. Recently returned from Adeje in Tenerife and prices have fallen A pint (500 ml really) 1 euro happy hour in some places 2 euro in others so not bad.. I would expect Greece to have fallen as well as they need the business

Last year in Pefkos a 500ml beer ran between €2.50 and €3.50 and there are many restaurants that do a three course set meal for €7.90 which are normally quite good as long as you are not expecting fine dining at that price. When going to one of these I normally stick to the simpler things on the menu as I wouldn`t expect to get a good quality steak at that price, but for a bowl of soup, an omelette and chips and a nice pudding its good value if you just fancy something simple. In the other restaurants starters run at €3 - €6 for a starter and €8 - €18 for a main with the higher end being seafood or steaks. A carafe of house wine will set you back about €8. Where you are staying at the Coralli they have an excellent restaurant with an exstensive menu and it is really good value. The portions are huge so be careful not to order too much. When we go to Corralli we order a selection of the home made starters and have a kind of Meze, their spinach and cheese pie is to die for, they also have a very large desert selection!!

For a cheaper option there is PJ`s on the corner of the main strip as you walk in from Corralli and it does kebabs, roast chicken, pizza etc.:

You will be spoilt for choice and will not be disappointed.

Hi there Sam. Coralli is a lovely place to eat. We did try one of the cheaper tavernas a few years ago and while it was okay, wouldn't go back. If you like Greek specialities, they are excellent value for money. As Joan says, the price of house wine is about €8. Think the most we paid was €10. Other tavernas that we liked were, (you will find your own personal favourites) Spitaki, Terpsis, Anixis and Nikolas to name but a few. You'll love Pefkos.

sam, your staying at corallis which serves the best food in pefkos, the owner and staff are great and friendly. it is situated a little out of pefkos, so if you have not done so look at car hire for all or part of your holiday. car hire from the airport is easy enough and means you dont have to spend up to 2 hrs on a coach dropping others off. also a trip to lindos is a must! pefkos is a lovely place and im sure you will have a brilliant time
