Flooding!

We r staying at holiday resort unity in brean from 31st march just wondering if the floods have affected brean or burnham? I really Feel for those who's homes have been flooded !

I have friends just out side Burnham and they have not been affected, its more in the middle of Somerset on the "Levels" I believe. To be sure have a look on the environment Agency web site.

Burnham and Brean are clear. The levels is where the major problem is. They are below sea level and flood most winters over the last few centuries, just between the ongoing bad weather and some work on the drainage has made matters worse.

The M5 and A38 are clear.

In 6-7 weeks by the time you go it will hopefully have stopped raining!
