Is Kos Town/Lambi area becoming all inclusives only?

Hi there

We stayed at the Artemis Apartments some years back (about 5 years ago) and had stayed a couple of times before that. I emailed the hotel and they are no longer taking bookings through any UK tour operators. Looking for somewhere else to stay (for next Sept 2012) and most seem to be Blue Lagoon type all inclusives.

Have seen a couple of others we are interested in - Alice Springs and Sophia Beach - any comments?

Will we notice many changes?

Thanks all.

Hi there - thanks for the response - are you saying Alice Springs is near the gypsies? Not quite sure where Alice Springs is compared to the Sophia Beach as it is a while since we've been there. Are they near to each other? Know where Sophia Beach is and Artemis Apartments.

Where is the Bahamas Hotel situated?

Thanks.

We stayed in the Continental Palace about 20 minute stroll into Kos Town..it was half board so you could have a meal through the day at one of the many tavernas or miss a odd evening meal instead as it all becomes a bit samey near the end of two weeks.

Thanks polly45 but part of our pleasure is strolling down to the harbour at night to choose a taverna to spend the evening at - I just couldn't bear to be half board or all inclusive and worry about the future of all these lovely tavernas - so want to stick to either an apartment or B&B. Cheers anyway.
