Macau to Shenzhen

Hi all,we are staying one night at the Metropole Hotel Macau and then transferring for 2 nights to SHenzhen. I know we can take the ferry to Shekou but I want to know how one handles this with lots of luggage.Is it far to walk from Shekou to the Subway station (we are staying downtown in Shenzhen near Lowu) or should we take a taxi? Thanks

At Shekou the subway station is just across a car park so very easy to access. From memory the train terminates one stop beyond the Wharf so your chances of getting a seat are very high. However if you have "lots of luggage" then a taxi wil be easier but you are looking at a fare around 100 RMB.

Zhuhai2007 is right that it is the second stop so that you can have a seat but you need to transfer to another line and that will be crowded. A taxi may be better. Here is a subway map:
