Heading To Macau This Weekend

I'm heading to HKG and decided to spend a night in Macau. I want to stay in Cotai strip (still thinking to stay on Thurs or Fri night).

Can anyone tell me if I book Holiday inn @ Cotai, is it within walking distance to Venetian and city of dreams?

If not, where is the best I can stay that is in the middle of the strip?

Thanks!

Looks like they are very close to City of Dreams. Not sure if they are adjacent to each other. Looks like about 400 to 500 meters away. Walking may be 5 to 8 minutes?

The Venetian is just across the street from City of Dreams.

Ah, Holiday Inn is in fact in middle of Cotai Strip- Sands Cotai Central..that's why it is called.

It is walking distance...about 10mins.

ANyway, no worries, there should be a Cotai shuttle bus that does loops.

I(I believe a while a ago, HappyFeet1234 and I were discussing, that there should be a monorail running around Cotai Strip- free of course..but admission via guest room key card, then monorail operator backcharge to these hotel/casinos operator-- the 100th passenger of the monorail gets a HKD5000 casino chip from casino hotel that he is staying).

Once you check the room price for Thursday and Fri..that could make you decide night will be staying night.

Have a nice time in Macau.

You are booking very late, so Friday night might be sold out for most hotels or rates would be very high.

Sheraton Macau may still has some decent rates for thursday night if you book quick. Its on the cotai strip and next to the holiday inn.

Yeah, a monorail or super-long pedestrian flat escalator would be nice. Cotai strip is not as big as Vegas' strip, but still kind of far to walk from one casino/hotel to another.

Holiday Inn is literally across the street (The strip) and just to the right in the Sands Cotai Strip complex. Very late to be booking as has been mentioned above and Friday rates are sky-high anyway.

You might also want to look at the Hard Rock Hotel in nearby City of Dreams, also just across from Venetian.

Good luck with the late hotel search, hope you can find something.
