Hard Rock Hotel - Cotai Strip - ok to stay at?

my husband and I only have 2 nights in Macau and plan to stay on the Cotai Strip and see the City of Dreams and the Venetian, plus go to the House of Dancing Water, so we are thinking at staying at the Hard Rock Hotel as it is central and good $value it seems. My only concern is noise - we are in our 50s and do not want to be kept up with rock and roll music all night. does anyone know the quality of this hotel please?

No worries, no rock and roll music in the rooms (unless you turn on the TV).

The hotel is just a typical hotel, with "hard rock" themed rooms (meaning some linens have the hard rock logo on them). Don't expect a pink cadillac bed or something outrageous.

I kind of like the hotel. It wasn't very busy (compared to the Venetian), the casino upstairs is nice and quiet, and I do enjoy a few rounds of peaceful blackjack there.

It is also not huge, so no need to do a ton of walking (compared to the Venetian or the Sheraton Cotai)

Booking a room plus dancing waters show is also good value.

Agree very much with maid.

Hard rock is not our favorite hotel in Macau, but it is quite modern, quite and good value for money if you avail of the house of dancing water package. It is not a bad choice and no need to worry about noise. Here is our review from hard rock hotel if useful.

Small upstairs casino is relaxed and quite as well, a bit tiny compared to the larger Macau casinos.

Have a nice time in Macau.

Sorry maic,

Fricken mobile devices are killing me with the predictive texting features. Didn't catch that one. Yikes! Hopefully won't happen again. ;-)
